Description
Welcome to the Georgian Rooms in Bridlington. The Georgian Rooms is made up of The Georgian Tea Rooms on the ground floor and The Georgian Antique Centre on the first floor. The Antique Centre now incorporates The Old Town Gallery (at the front of the main showroom) and Coach House Antiques operating from the garden at the back of The Georgian Rooms.
The Georgian Tea Rooms is committed to providing that increasingly rare phenomenon, namely good quality food, cooked on the premises. We are members of Les Routiers as well as the Tea Council and the AA Guide and recently were placed in the Independent Newspaper’s survey of the “Top 50 Tea Rooms in Great Britain”.
All of the usual Tea Room delights are on offer, including a full range of teas, coffees, light snacks, sandwiches and cakes. In addition we serve a range of hot meals (see separate page for our daily specials).
The Georgian Antiques Centre upstairs has a huge stock of greeting cards, jewellery, antiques, furniture and is ideal for an hour or so of happy browsing! The Old Town Gallery can also be found on the upper floor displaying the works of local artist Trish Watson.
Outside there is a large garden and antique fountain ideal to eat “al fresco” or just to rest quietly and drink in the tranquility of this very special part of Bridlington.
