To the east of the North York Moors, Pinewood Park offers a selection of accommodations with a Wild West theme. Around 4.8 km from Scarborough, the site provides free parking and includes a modern shower block.
Pinewood Park includes cabins, shacks, lodges and wagons, along with some tepee tents. Accommodations is basically furnished, and guests will need to bring pillows, duvets or sleeping bags, except in the lodges where bedding is provided.
Towels, toiletries, a torch and cooking equipment should also be brought by guests. Electricity usage is metered.
The cabins are larger than the shacks and have a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, as do the lodges and wagons. The tepee tents are raised off the ground on wooden decks, fully carpeted and have picnic tables outside. Dogs are welcome in all accommodations except the wagons.
Scarborough Castle and the Spa Theater are within 10-15 minutes’ drive of Pinewood Park. The Flamborough Head Heritage Coast and the seaside village of Robin Hood’s Bay are around 30 minutes’ drive away.
