Welcome to Stone House Hotel – set deep in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. If you are looking for a hotel with comfort, first class service, award winning food and a dream location then Stone House is the perfect choice.
Established in 1981, Stone House is n the same family ownership and the core values of service and quality remain unchanged to this day.
We have a range of room styles to suit all – including classic bedrooms, four poster bedrooms, ground-floor rooms with private conservatories and suites.
Our chefs aim to please and the evening dinner menu changes daily offering a range of delicious dishes with ingredients sourced from the dales and coast of Yorkshire.
We also offer award winning Yorkshire breakfasts, a light lunch menu and home baked afternoon teas. Relax in our cosy bar, oak panelled lounge or library.
The hotel is set in acre of old English gardens with dramatic views of the upper Wensleydale valley and located perfectly for exploring the Yorkshire Dales by foot, bike or car!

The Stone House Hotel is a classic Edwardian country house built in 1908, set in a stunning, secluded spot in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales near the town of Hawes. It has been family-run for over 40 years.
Many rooms at Stone House have views of the beautiful gardens that surround the hotel and have Smart TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities among other amenities.
With original oak paneling in the main lounge and real log fires throughout, the picturesque Stone House Hotel is the perfect home away from home, there is also a bar serving local ales, spirits and a range of wines by the glass which can also be enjoyed in the library/billiard room or the garden.
